Classic Cheesecake

Total Time: 2 hrs Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 graham cracker pie crust

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325°f if using a silver 9-inch springform pan (or to 300°f if using a dark nonstick springform pan).
  • 2 beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  • 3 add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. pour over crust.
  • 4 bake 55 minutes or until center is almost set.
  • 5 loosen cake from side of pan; cool before removing side of pan.
  • 6 refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
  • 7 store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.
