Classic Cheesecake

Ingredients

- 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 1 graham cracker pie crust
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325°f if using a silver 9-inch springform pan (or to 300°f if using a dark nonstick springform pan).
- 2 beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
- 3 add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. pour over crust.
- 4 bake 55 minutes or until center is almost set.
- 5 loosen cake from side of pan; cool before removing side of pan.
- 6 refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
- 7 store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.
