Chili Cheese Puff

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 9 eggs
  • 1 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups 1% fat cottage cheese
  • 2 (4 ounce) cans diced green chilies, drained
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 cup salsa

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 spray 13x9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 3 combine flour and baking powder in small bowl.
  • 4 whisk eggs in large bowl until well blended.
  • 5 add cheese, cottage cheese, chilies, salt, sugar and pepper sauce.
  • 6 add flour mixture and stir just until combined.
  • 7 pour into prepared dish.
  • 8 bake, uncovered, 45 minutes or until egg mixture is set.
  • 9 let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  • 10 serve with salsa.
