Chili Brie In Sourdough Bread

Ingredients
- 1 lb round loaf sourdough bread (from bakery or deli at grocery store)
- 8 ounces wheel brie cheese
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dry ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon soft butter
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350*f. slice off top of bread (set aside to use later) and remove center of bread, breaking it into bite size pieces to be used when serving. butter inside of bread.
- 2 mix chili powder, dry mustard, garlic powder and sugar. sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of this mixture inside bread. remove the rind from the cheese and place cheese in bread. sprinkle the rest of the spice mixture on the cheese. place the top of the bread on and bake on a baking sheet for 25 minutes.
- 3 to serve, break the top of the bread into bite size pieces to dip in the hot brie along with the pieces that were removed from the center of the bread.
