Cream Cheese Cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 1 lb cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla, divided
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pint sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 grease a 9" pyrex baking dish.
  • 2 beat together cream cheese, 3/4 c sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and eggs. pour into baking dish. put dish into cold oven; turn up to 375°f and bake 20 minutes.
  • 3 mix together sour cream, 1/4 c sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. pour into baking dish and spread evenly. turn oven up to 475°f and bake another 10 minutes. turn off oven and leave dish in oven until completely cool.
