Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cold
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, firm but not cold
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar, shifted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- milk, if necessary
Recipe
- 1 cream together cream cheese, butter, and salt until light and fluffy, about three minutes.
- 2 slowly add in sifted confectioners sugar a little at a time until completely incorporated.
- 3 once sugar is fully incorporated add vanilla extract.
- 4 do not over beat or the frosting will become too dense.
- 5 if necessary, add milk 1/2 tsp at a time to become more spreadable.
