Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  • 2 zest lemon (or lime or orange for different flavor) directly into butter/cream cheese.
  • 3 add lemon juice and mix well.
  • 4 gradually add sifted powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • 5 try not to eat too much before you frost the cake!
