Cream Cheese Filling For Cakes

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemons (optional, but really gives a nice flavor!) or 1 tablespoon orange rind (optional, but really gives a nice flavor!)

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl beat all ingredients until smooth.
  • 2 layer half of the cake batter in pan.
  • 3 top/spoon with the cream cheese mixture, then top with remaining cake batter.
  • 4 bake as directed.
