Baked Camembert

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 200 g camembert cheese (or any size round)
  • 2 -3 blanched garlic cloves, halved
  • 2 tablespoons red wine
  • 2 -3 sprigs thyme

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 200 celcius.
  • 2 insert garlic into rind of cheese.
  • 3 pour over red wine.
  • 4 sprinkle thyme on top.
  • 5 bake on an oven tray for 10-15 minutes.
  • 6 grind fresh black pepper over the top and serve with crusty bread.
  • 7 note: sourdough bread goes really well with this - next time i would cut the garlic into slivers instead of halves, so that it could roast more.
