Country Style Egg And Bacon Pie

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 sheets ready rolled puff pastry
  • 8 eggs
  • 4 slices diced bacon
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1 -2 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 3/4 cup grated tasty cheese

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 180oc.
  • 2 line a baking dish with one sheet of pastry.
  • 3 layer the ingredients.
  • 4 first the onion and bacon on the bottom, then sprinkle peas, lay the sliced tomatoes.
  • 5 crack the eggs into the pie one at a time (do not beat beforehand).
  • 6 and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • 7 cover with second sheet of pastry.
  • 8 brush with milk and spike some holes in the pastry top.
  • 9 bake in a moderate oven for 40 minutes.
