Chili Dog Sauce

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 lbs ground beef
• 3 medium chopped onions
• 1 medium chopped green pepper
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 1 (28 ounce) bottle ketchup
• 1/4 cup chili powder
• hot dog, heated
• hot dog bun, split
• shreddred cheddar cheese

Recipe

• 1 in a large saucepan, cook beef, onions, green pepper and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink.
• 2 drain.
• 3 stir in ketchup and chili powder.
• 4 simmer, uncovered, for 2 1/2 hours or until thick and bubbly, stirring occasionally.
• 5 serve over hot dogs in buns.
• 6 sprinkle with cheese.
