Broccoli Cheese

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 600 g broccoli florets
  • 1 pint 1% low-fat milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 150 g cheddar cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 blanch the broccoli and place into an oven dish.
  • 2 mix a little of the milk with the cornflour to form a smooth paste.
  • 3 add the rest of the milk, and place in a saucepan.
  • 4 cook over a medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • 5 add the cheese and stir until it has melted into the sauce.
  • 6 pour over the broccoli and bake in a medium high oven for 30 minutes.
