Cottage Cheese Strudel

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 2 pie crusts, one package with 2 pie crusts in it
  • 1 (2 lb) carton cottage cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 place one of the pie crust on the bottom of either an 8x8 inch or a 9x9 inch pan.
  • 2 cut off some of the crust that goes up the side of the pan and set aside.
  • 3 pour half of the cottage cheese mixture into the pan, then lay the crust that you cut off of the sides on top of the cottage cheese mixture.
  • 4 pour the remaining cottage cheese over the crust.
  • 5 top with the remaining pie crust.
  • 6 pour a little milk over the top crust and sprinkle with sugar.
  • 7 bake at 350°f for about an hour or until the crust is nice and golden.
