Cheesy Ham Loaf

Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, diced
- 6 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cubed monterey jack cheese (1/2 inch) or 1 cup cubed swiss cheese
- 1 cup cubed mild cheddar cheese (1/2 inch)
- 1 cup cubed cooked ham
Recipe
- 1 brown bacon over medium heat until light golden brown. drain.
- 2 in large mixing bowl, beat eggs uintil foamy.
- 3 add milk, flour, baking powder and salt. beat until smooth.
- 4 stir in remaining ingredients and bacon; blend well.
- 5 pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- 6 bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes until golden brown.
- 7 remove from pan. serve hot, cut in slices.
- 8 tips: if desired, add 1 teaspoon prepared mustard.
- 9 recipe can be doubled and baked in 2 9x5 loaf pans.
- 10 i have sometimes added a chopped onion which i had cooked in the bacon grease.
