Cheesy Ham Loaf

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon, diced
  • 6 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cubed monterey jack cheese (1/2 inch) or 1 cup cubed swiss cheese
  • 1 cup cubed mild cheddar cheese (1/2 inch)
  • 1 cup cubed cooked ham

Recipe

  • 1 brown bacon over medium heat until light golden brown. drain.
  • 2 in large mixing bowl, beat eggs uintil foamy.
  • 3 add milk, flour, baking powder and salt. beat until smooth.
  • 4 stir in remaining ingredients and bacon; blend well.
  • 5 pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • 6 bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes until golden brown.
  • 7 remove from pan. serve hot, cut in slices.
  • 8 tips: if desired, add 1 teaspoon prepared mustard.
  • 9 recipe can be doubled and baked in 2 9x5 loaf pans.
  • 10 i have sometimes added a chopped onion which i had cooked in the bacon grease.
