Cottage Cheese Pie

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups cream-style cottage cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 lemon, rind of, grated
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400°f.
- 2 press the cheese through a sieve 2 times.
- 3 add the butter, sugar, salt, flour, lemon rind, unbeaten egg yolks, chopped raisins, nuts and milk.
- 4 stir well.
- 5 beat the egg whites until stiff.
- 6 fold into cheese mixture.
- 7 bake for 30 minutes or until browned and firm.
