Crab Puffs

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup shredded crabmeat
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 minced green onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl, mix together crab, cheese, onion, mustard, worcestershire, salt and pepper. set aside.
  • 2 in a saucepan, heat butter and water to a boil. remove from heat.
  • 3 add flour and beat until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms into a ball.
  • 4 add eggs, one at a time, beating until each is fully incorporated.
  • 5 carefully fold in crab-cheese mixture.
  • 6 drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet, about 1 inch apart.
  • 7 bake at 400f for 20-25 minutes or until golden. serve hot.
  • 8 if frozen, thaw and reheat at 325 for 10 minutes.
