Classic Quiche

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups carnation 2% evaporated milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 place pie shell on baking sheet; bake 10 minutes; let cool.
  • 3 cook bacon until crisp.
  • 4 combine bacon, cheese, flour and salt in bowl; spread evenly over pie shell.
  • 5 stir together eggs and evaporated milk in another bowl.
  • 6 pour over cheese mixture.
  • 7 bake 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.
  • 8 let stand 5 minutes before serving.
