Classic Pesto

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves, lightly packed
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 1 -2 garlic clove, peeled

Recipe

  • 1 in food proocessor or blender, combine basil, cheese, oil, pine nuts and garlic.
  • 2 whirl until pureed.
  • 3 if made ahead, cover and refrigerate until next day. bring to room temperature before use.
