Cheesy Spinach Dip

Ingredients

• 2 -3 tablespoons butter
• 1/2 medium onion, chopped finely
• 1 lb fresh spinach leaves
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
• 2 tablespoons heavy cream
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Recipe

• 1 saute onion in butter until carmelized. add spinach and wilt for a few mintues. add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and cream. stir until melted and blended together. place cheese mixture in an oven-safe casserole dish (6 x 9). top with pecans. bake in 350 degree oven until browned on top and pecans toasted. serve immediately.
