Debbies Tuna Casserole

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tuna (drained )
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 2 tablespoons sherry wine
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 lemon, zest of
  • 2 cups cooked rotini (or favourite pasta i.e shells or macaroni )
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 onion, chopped and sauteed
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup plain potato chips, crushed

Recipe

  • 1 mix the soup, mayonnaise, milk, sherry, lemon juice, celery seed and lemon zest together.
  • 2 add the tuna , onion, pasta and frozen peas to the mix.
  • 3 pour into a casserole and top with the cheese and the potato chips.
  • 4 bake in a 375 * oven for 30 minutes.
