nina's one pan greek-style penne

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 box barilla® pronto™ penne
  • 3 plum tomatoes, diced
  • 2/3 cup pitted kalamata olives, sliced
  • 3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Recipe

    Cook Time: 10 mins Ready Time: 10 mins

  • pour whole box of pasta into a large skillet (approximately 12 inches in diameter). pour 3 cups of cold water into the pan, ensuring that the water covers the pasta. turn the burner to high, then set your timer for 10 minutes (optional: add a bit of salt to taste).
  • cook on high, stirring occasionally, until almost all of the liquid has evaporated.
  • add tomatoes and olives and bring to a simmer, gently heat through. remove skillet from heat and top with cheese. serve immediately.
