sage and apple sausage pizza

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 2 teaspoons spectrum naturals® olive oil
  • 1 cup sliced red or sweet onion
  • 1 (12 inch) pre-cooked thin pizza crust
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 yves veggie cuisine® sage and apple sausages, sliced
  • 2 slices yves veggie cuisine® veggie bacon strips, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced assorted bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins Ready Time: 30 mins

  • preheat oven to 400 degrees f (200 degrees c).
  • heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. add onion; cook, stirring often, for 7 minutes or until soft. set aside.
  • place pizza crust on a baking sheet; spread with sauce. top with veggie sausage, veggie bacon, peppers, cooked onion, parmesan and mozzarella.
  • bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until heated through and cheese is melted.
