Decadent Fettucine Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

• Servings: 4
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
• 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
• nutmeg
• salt
• pepper

Recipe

• 1 melt butter in saute pan; do not let brown.
• 2 add cream, and bring the mixture to a soft boil.
• 3 add parmesan cheese and cook until cheese is melted, and mixture becomes thicker (and it will thicken as it cools).
• 4 add a sprinkle of ground nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste.
• 5 pour over al dente fettucine noodles.
