Chocolate Honey Dates And Figs With Stilton

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 -3 dark chocolate squares with 85 percent cocoa (myan infused with cayenne is nice)
  • 5 -6 dates and figs
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (one infused with dates is especially nice.)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • stilton cheese (try to find a mango or ginger stilton.)
  • pecan bread (toasted and sliced thin)

Recipe

  • 1 heat balsamic vinegar in a shallow pan over a low heat.
  • 2 add honey and cook until it bubbles.
  • 3 add the chocolate squares and heat until melted.
  • 4 add the dates and figs. stir to coat.
  • 5 place the fruit on a few slices of toasted bread.
  • 6 drizzle with remaining sauce and top with crumbled cheese.
