Creamy Ravioli Casserole

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 (15 1/2 ounce) cans canned ravioli in tomato sauce
  • 4 onions, diced
  • 1 1/8 cups milk
  • 1 1/8 cups heavy cream
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 5 1/4 ounces cheese, grated
  • 2 teaspoons mixed herbs
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2 saute onions until nice brown.
  • 3 add milk and heavy cream and bring to a boil.
  • 4 boil for 5 minutes or until consistence becomes a little bit thick and creamy.
  • 5 remove from heat and let cool for some minutes.
  • 6 add egg yolks and mix well.
  • 7 season with salt and pepper.
  • 8 place ravioli into a baking dish.
  • 9 cover with sauce.
  • 10 sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • 11 bake uncovered for ca.
  • 12 40 minutes.
  • 13 sprinkle with herbs and serve immediately.
