Creamy Lamb Chops

Ingredients

- 6 lamb chops
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups milk
- 4 whole peeled garlic cloves
- salt (i use garlic salt)
- pepper
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 2 sprinkle lamb chops with salt and pepper.
- 3 brown lamb chops over medium-high heat.
- 4 when chops are browned, but not cooked through, place in a 13x9 baking dish.
- 5 in the same skillet you browned the chops saute the sliced onions until caramelized, sprinkling with a little salt to add flavor and bring out the sugars.
- 6 when the onions are starting to get a little color add your garlic cloves.
- 7 when onions and garlic are nicely caramelized pour over lamb chops.
- 8 in the same skillet add the can of cream of chicken soup, milk, salt and pepper to taste, and parmesan cheese. whisk until all the lumps are gone.
- 9 when this reaches a creamy texture (you may need to add a little water if it's too thick) pour over lamb chops and onions.
- 10 bake uncovered for 45 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chops.
