Cracked Canoe Danish Fondue

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 slices bacon, finely chopped
  • 1 cup spanish onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cracked canoe lager beer
  • 1 cup havarti cheese, grated
  • 1 cup gouda cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 place a medium saucepot over medium heat and add the chopped bacon.
  • 2 render the fat from the bacon, crisping it gently.
  • 3 add onions to sauté and the butter to melt and brown slightly.
