Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 dash salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees f.
  • 2 grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
  • 3 in a large bowl, cream butter, cream cheese, and eggs.
  • 4 add sugar gradually; mix well.
  • 5 add flour and salt gradually; mix well.
  • 6 stir in vanilla.
  • 7 pour batter into prepared pan.
  • 8 bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
