Cream Cheese Fudge Brownie Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce) box pillsbury thick 'n fudgy hot fudge swirl deluxe brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2 in medium bowl, combine cheese, sugar, vanilla and 1 egg; beat until smooth and set aside.
  • 3 reserve hot fudge packet from brownie mix for topping.
  • 4 in large bowl, combine brownie mix, oil, 1 tablespoon of water and 2 eggs; beat 50 strokes with spoon.
  • 5 spread 1/2 cup brownie mixture in bottom of crust-lined pan.
  • 6 spoon and carefully spread the cream cheese mix over brownie layer.
  • 7 top with remaining brownie mix; spreading evenly; sprinkle with pecans.
  • 8 bake 40-50 minutes or until center is puffed and crust is golden brown.
  • 9 if needed, cover edge of crust with strips of foil after 15 or 20 minutes of baking (to prevent excessive browning).
  • 10 put hot fudge in small microwavable bowl, heat on high 30 seconds.
  • 11 stir in remaining water and drizzle fudge over pie; let cool completely.
