Chicken With Wine Herb Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon tarragon
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 whole chicken, cut up
  • 1/2 cup dry wine
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350. in a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • 2 add onion and cook until tender, about 3 minutes.
  • 3 stir in parsley, oregano, poultry seasoning, tarragon, marjoram and wine.
  • 4 boil 5 minutes or until sauce is reduced by one-third.
  • 5 arrange chicken in a 13 by 9 inch baking dish. brush herb sauce over chicken.
  • 6 sprinkle with parmesan cheese and paprika. bake 45 minutes or until chicken is done.
