Bread Machine Pizza Dough

Ingredients
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup vital wheat gluten
- garlic powder
- onion powder
Recipe
- 1 put all the ingredients in the machine according to manufacturer's instructions.
- 2 for the onion and garlic powders, i don't measure it; i just sprinkle some in to my liking because it makes the dough less plain.
- 3 do a dough cycle. mine is about 90 minutes hence the cook time.
- 4 when the dough cycle finishes, extract it and knead on a floured surface, then roll out onto the pizza pan of your choice/use a little and freeze the rest. i use a 16" thin crust pan and use the whole thing.
- 5 i recommend pre-baking at 400f for 5-7 minutes prior to putting on sauce, cheese, toppings,etc.
- 6 for a flatter more "thin crust" outcome, use less yeast (about 2 1/4 tsp or 1 tsp.).
