Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 (1 small) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 in a small bowl blend cream cheese, egg, 1/2 cup sugar, and pinch of salt well.
- 2 stir in chocolate chips and set aside.
- 3 in a large bowl sift flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, baking soda.
- 4 add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla.
- 5 beat well.
- 6 fill well greased and floured or lined small muffin tins 1/2 full of chocolate batter.
- 7 top each with heaping teaspoon of cream cheese mixture.
- 8 bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
