Cream Cheese Puffs

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup water chestnut, 1/8 inch cubes
  • 2 stalks green onions, minced
  • 36 wonton wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • oil

Recipe

  • 1 in a mixing bowl blend together cream cheese, water chestnut and green onion with a piece of the wrapper place a 1 tsp of the cream cheese mixture and seal the edge with some of the beaten egg and fold diagonally and press to seal. place into hot oil and fry to a golden brown and drain on paper towel. make about 3 dozens.
