mini wheels with peas, ham and tomato
Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 (16 ounce) box barilla® mini wheels
- 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 tablespoons minced onions
- 1/3 cup julienned fully cooked ham
- 1/4 cup frozen peas
- 4 medium plum tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese

Ready Time: 15 mins
- bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- in a large skillet saute onions in olive oil over medium heat. add the ham and cook until slightly crispy, 2 to 3 minutes.
- add the peas and saute for 2 minutes. add the tomatoes; season with salt and pepper.
- cook pasta according to directions.
- drain the pasta and toss with sauce and cheese.
