Clam Bacon And Chive Dip

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 slices bacon, coarsely chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon bottled clam juice
  • 1 -2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (5 ounce) can baby clams, rinsed drained and chopped
  • 2 -4 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in skillet, cook bacon until browned and crisp. drain on paper towels.
  • 2 in bowl, using a fork, mix cream cheese, clam juice, 1 teaspoon lime juice, and worcestershire sauce until just blended.
  • 3 stir in clams, chives and red pepper and just enough sour cream to reach dipping consistency. season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • 4 stir in bacon. add remaining lime juice, if desired.
