Clam Bacon And Chive Dip

Ingredients

- 4 slices bacon, coarsely chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon bottled clam juice
- 1 -2 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 (5 ounce) can baby clams, rinsed drained and chopped
- 2 -4 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 in skillet, cook bacon until browned and crisp. drain on paper towels.
- 2 in bowl, using a fork, mix cream cheese, clam juice, 1 teaspoon lime juice, and worcestershire sauce until just blended.
- 3 stir in clams, chives and red pepper and just enough sour cream to reach dipping consistency. season to taste with salt and pepper.
- 4 stir in bacon. add remaining lime juice, if desired.
