Chilie Relleno Casserole

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 2 (7 ounce) cans of ortega diced green chilies
- 2 (4 ounce) cans of ortega whole green chilies
- 1 lb monterey jack cheese, grated
- 1 dozen egg
- 1 (8 ounce) can evaporated milk
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven 375.
- 2 13x9 baking dish place a layer of the whole green chillies on the bottom. you must split them in half.
- 3 sprinkle a thin of cheese on top of whole chillies.
- 4 next layer will the diced green chillies.
- 5 repeat layers of diced chillies and cheese making sure the cheese is the last layer.
- 6 in a large mixing bowl, beat eggs and evaporated milk.
- 7 pour mixture over the casserole.
- 8 place it in oven and let bake 35-40 minute.
